*DoD Requirement:
The Department of Defense has implemented challenging new cybersecurity compliance standards for its contractors and sub-contractors. These standards include complying with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-171 (NIST 800-171) which outlines the requirements that any non-Federal computer system must comply with in order to store, process, or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or provide security protection for such systems. These requirements are mandatory and apply to all DoD primes and sub-contractors..
